My oldest and the youngest have struggled their entire lives. Last night the oldest announced she wasn't going to be able to get all of her laundry done between school and going out of town. Her little sister who we've been trying to teach "respect to elders" lessons this week replied out of nowhere,"I'll do your laundry for you"! My three go at each other like they're mortal enemies and then, like you said, there are moments like this where they realize they need each other - even like each other (just a little bit). Love this" "I pray they confront the ugliness and salute the beautiful together, hands tied, united front."
